They looked hideous in the seventies when men didn’t know better. Now they’re combining that terrible look with an even more terrible look - the mullet. Why do men seem to want to look like porn stars?

Movember is coming up, as a big sign reminded me as I went in to Reading today.

I’ve been trying to convince my BF to shave off his beard but keep the tache. Probably some daddy issues as I’m old enough to have had an 80s dad with a moustache. It’s just the cyclical nature of fashion. All the cool kids are doing it!

Going to the gym and holding hands is "plastic", is it?

Dear god, I'd rather face a thousand mullets than encounter even one more of these tragic little incel types that pop up semi-regularly on here now.

Why do some women wear those tallons, duck lips, massive plastic asses, ridiculous fake lashes, drag-inspired makeup, botox-frozen faces, flesh coloured leggings, bum-scrunch leggings and the like. Far more baffling than the porn-stache. That you can shave off, at least.

It's called getting old. Gradually becoming less interested in the world and ranting at the young for doing things differently. First step along the path of your brain preparing you for eventual death.

I dunno, there have been loads of threads about how awful the big eyebrows/thick makeup/filled lips look is, and they don’t get massive pushback.

My DB has the mullet and moustache combo- the family rips the piss out of him, but it does suit him actually.

My grandfather has always had a giant bushy moustache and when he flashes a big smile he looks just like Freddie Mercury so I've always seen it as endearing

I don’t like the way women get Botox and fillers either. But the moustache looked terrible back in the day. So did the mullet. That’s why I don’t understand it. I am of a certain age and some fashions should have been left in the past.
