To be irritated by the way M&S display their jumpers

I'm currently stocking up on winter wear so have been buying jumpers.

Looking at M&S online for cardigans this morning and came away majorly irked by their models.

All I want to see is what I'm trying to buy. I just want the model to put the cardigan on, stand up reasonably straight and be photographed from various angles.

If you tuck one half of the cardigan into your trousers it makes it ruck up so I can't see how long it is, nor how it hangs.

Same with the sleeves, if you pull them over your hands or pull them up your arms I can't see how long they are.

Don't slouch in a chair or on the floor.

Don't pull the top of the garment up around your ears, maybe you're aiming at quirky, but I'm trying to see what it looks like being worn normally. I'm not going be wearing it yanked up around my ears.

And don't hug a bloody great bag to your chest because then all I can see is the bloody great bag.

Just needed to get that off my chest.

I was looking at a dress called Jersey Textured Midaxi Column Dress
£35 this morning. Some of the photos are ridiculous, slumped on a chair with legs splayed and close up to show neckline obscured by chunky necklace. Also, thin models with distracting runway model looks. We want to see what it looks like not see if the photographer can win a competition for edgy photography

Those Zara shoes! Here's a better view of them, be sure to scroll down:
https://www.zara.com/uk/en/mesh-shoes-p11280410.html?v1=412389873&v2=2419160

Prepare to have your flabber well and truly ghasted!

So the feet are printed onto the mesh.

Hideous

M&S do give measurements on their website if you go into product details.

But no idea if it will fit my body type. That's why a conversation is useful. Marks sizes are way off far too often IME.

@PsychoHotSauce wanky poses 🤣🤣 it's true they do.
I saw one touching her toes like a toddler, it looked like she'd fallen over or was trying to show what an arse looks like in said jeans. They literally look like toddlers. Toddler in a mood pose, toddler being cheeky pose, toddler standing on toes....
Sometimes they hold their head with a confused expression, as though to say, "shit where am I, why am I wearing these shit clothes?"
@pigsDOfly I totally get what you are saying. It annoys me terribly.

Don’t go on the Toast website.Their poor models look as though they took one too many Valium with their matcha tea. I want to do the annoying “ Cheer up love, it might never happen” thing, but I think they are too far gone.

They all look lonely and lost, bless ‘em. Nice clothes but no friends.
