My neighbour promised to pay to get my new car washed after his mucky building works, but I’ve heard nothing since. My car is filthy. He and his wife aren't the greatest to get along with either - the relationship between us has always been strained. We've been living here decades longer than they have and they're the type who tries to take over (I'm just trying to solely describe them here). What should I do? AIBU? Or is a promise a promise?
