What's Leeds city centre like to live in?

I'm thinking of moving there for a couple of reasons.

I used to live in the city centre years ago and I enjoyed it. I was only in my 20s so it was great for going out and transport links were good. Friends enjoyed coming over as everything was on the doorstep so no need to mess around with taxis at the end of the night. Same as any city centre really. It all depends on what your expectations are and why you want to live there? I still live in Leeds but moved because my circumstances changed. I’ve lived in Headingley, Chapel Allerton and Roundhay and they have all suited my needs at different points in my life.
