Thinking of taking our 3 kids in a few weeks but looking at the prices it will be the best part of £100 for two adults and 3 x kids, ages 4-11.

Is it worth it? Do you need to pre book or can you turn up on the day?

We went ( 4 adults, 3 children) in August, having been the previous August, before it closed.
It seemed the same, pretty busy and changing area a bit grubby (as you'd expect with so many people), but the actual pools, slides etc are great. There are 2 outdoor pools which aren't graduated depth- probably too deep for the 4 year old to stand up. The indoor wave pool & splash area are great for smaller ones, and various big slides for the adventurous ones. There's a cafe with a limited menu in the pool area so you don't need to get dry to use it.
I think the admissions fee gets you 3 hours in the pools, which is probably enough. It was a great activity & we'd go back if in the area again.
In August you definitely had to book - not sure about other times.
