Which celebrities/public figures give you the creeps?

For me the biggest one is Jacob Rees Mogg. He puts the fear of God in me. He reminds me of some villain in a horror film. If I see him on TV or a picture of him I actually get the chills.

I also find a really unsettling energy about Louis Walsh and David Walliams.

There are two Brian Cox's considered so equally famous that Google can't choose between them.

@BippityBopper lol. Yes, Mr Tumble.

ponia · 13/10/2024 00:00

Bruce Forsyth.

I just don't understand why he's perceived by so many as a TV gem. He's creepy and sexist as fuck in all of his programmes and looks like the walrus from that terrifying pingu episide. Gives me the absolute ick.

Also Gino Daccampo, Paul Hollywood and Gary Barlow.

YES!

I always found him so sinister with the moustache and the 'cute' dancing. He makes my skin crawl but friends have expressed bewilderment when I mention this. His creepiness was off the charts.

conniefromaccounts · 13/10/2024 00:01

Chris Martin
Ed Sheeran
Daniel Radcliffe

I had years of turning over if Tom Hanks was on but I'm okay with him again now for some reason.

I have never really fallen for Dave Grohl’s ‘nicest man in rock’ schtick and was clearly recently vindicated! Nice men don’t get other women pregnant! What a nob.

I was a nirvana fan but have never really enjoyed his shouty nonsense in the foo fighters and something about his aura always really unsettled me - AND I WAS RIGHT.

Tom Cruise

oh my, how I could I forget this one

Teenagehorrorbag · 13/10/2024 00:03

Owen Wilson makes me cringe! He just does - in every film he's ever made and in those stupid sofa adverts! If I met him I would want to punch him - and looking at his nose, people clearly have already.....😀! No idea why, I'm sure he's harmless, but just ick!

I also could never stand Michael Douglas and was not at all surprised when he confessed to being a 'sex addict'......!

The other one is Jack Nicholson - he is a great actor but just gives me the creeps! Especially in that film with the witches, and also in Terms of Endearment. Shivers.......

Owen Wilson- his voice, hair, everything.
Will Ferrell- really creepy especially how he always seems to be cast with much younger beautiful women.
Tom Hiddleston- both cringey and creepy.
Meghan Markle- same.
Yes to Jimmy Fallon. Manic laughter that never seems to reach his eyes.

Jimmy Fallon is rumoured to be a serious alcoholic who is perma-hungover so your perception of him not really smiling is probably correct!

And Will Ferrell I agree with - he seems very angry!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 13/10/2024 00:10

John Barrowman (even befire the weirdy things he did ) don't like the way he laughs like a "Oh look at me , I;m so wonderful but don't touch"

Anthony Worral Thomson, would not let him cook for me ever

Boutonnière · 13/10/2024 00:12

There’s actor called Pedro Pascal - no idea about his work and I haven’t seen him in anything but I kept seeing clips of him laughing and smiling and for some reason he makes me shudder.

I think that’s total crap

Mojodojocasahous · 13/10/2024 00:13

Lorraine. All fake niceness and tinkly laughs. She’s crap too, absolutely pinched a living - convinced she knows where the bodies are buried at ITV to be continued to broadcast.

getthosetitsup · 13/10/2024 00:17

Jimmyville · 12/10/2024 18:11

Noel Fielding - hideous.

Alexander Armstrong - how can everyone not see this?

Philip Schofield - just no.

Alexander Armstrong, I totally getcha. He just seems... smarmy.

A pp mentioned Julian Clary. I met him once, very briefly. A great impression was not left on me.

Nowandforeveridontcare · 13/10/2024 00:20

I cannot believe the posters saying people like Rylan, Dermot, Vernon Kay…?!! and Noel fielding too…I’ve heard he’s a really decent guy, he looks a little different maybe but so what

Ones I think so seem creepy:

Mr Tumble
David Williams
Matthew kelly
Stephen mulhearn (but also heard he’s lovely, so feel a bit bad about that)
Elton John
Keith lemon-another who is likely a decent guy, just feel a bit uncomfortable watching him-as himself, not as Kieth
Simon Cowell-seems nice, but something odd about him
Matthew wright

I can’t think or any women I find creepy I don’t think

QueryA · 13/10/2024 00:23

I know loads have said David Walliams, but I have to add to the list. He just creeps me out, something horrible about his smile, it doesn’t reach his eyes.
also Sam Smith. And Keith Lemon ( or whatever his real name is)
although I enjoy the deadpool films I don’t enjoy Ryan Reynolds. Something off about him too.

braaaiiins · 13/10/2024 00:24

Chiming in with the Walliams horror. I hope the folk who dislike Tennant and Fielding are wrong and they're really lovely and nice. No one has mentioned John Travolta so i will. I cannot watch him, he truly distubs me.

NC543210 · 13/10/2024 00:24

David Walliams... I'm sure something will come out about him. Its the eyes.

And Paul Hollywood. He seems the kind of man who would sit next to you with his knee pressed against yours.

Women
Stacey Solomon. I imagine a lot of her niceness is a facade. She seems like the typical 'mean girl'.
Beyonce. Even before the recent stuff.

NC543210 · 13/10/2024 00:26

Oh and Starmer.

He reminds me of a robot. I watched a series once called humans I think on ch4. About robots and I always think of it when I see him.

Helpnifoseeker · 12/10/2024 17:06

For me it's the actor Timothy Chalamet or is it "Timothee"? I find him so creepy I haven't been able to watch the new Dune film because he has such a big part in it. I tried watching "The King" but had to switch it off because of him. I just get a horrible vibe off him and that may not be rational nor reasonable but I do and that's that!
David Walliams seems a bit iffy to me as well.
TBH , I suspect there's still a fair few dark people in the entertainment industry, that the ones we know about-Savile, Harris, Weinstein, Combs- are just the tip of the iceberg and if we did know, we could be very shocked, disillusioned ,disgusted and outraged. It's just one of those occupations that attracts people who are high in narcissistic traits (who could even be classed as having Cluster B PDs) and not who they present themselves to be.
We might never know either, which I find disturbing!

He's friends with one of my kids and is lovely!

UglyFatandStupid · 13/10/2024 00:26

Noel Edmonds. He always has done

I also get really bad feelings about Gary Lineker

Foopa · 13/10/2024 00:27

Have we had Will Mellor? He's the smarmiest rat faced creep going but many women seem to love him. Pure slimeball.

Blondiney · 13/10/2024 00:30

Sarah Paulson. Her face is sinister.

Foopa · 13/10/2024 00:31

Oh and Jimmy Carr, could imagine he's all kinds of wrong.

Blondiney · 13/10/2024 00:32

Mansionscoldandgrey · 12/10/2024 23:21

Hamble from Play School.

Lol, know exactly what you mean!

ChishiyaBat · 13/10/2024 00:33

I love Noel Fielding have for years, I hope he isn't a wrong un!
