Sold an item with the inpost postage option but when I got to the shipping stage I realised they'd sent an actual address label rather than just being able to scan a QR code at the locker.

I can print it out no issue but I wondered what I'm then meant to do with it? Can you still take it to a locker? If so how do you open it?

Is there a barcode on the address label, scan that, or you can key in the (long) code.

Lucylooloo2 · 11/10/2024 17:26

Assuming it’s an InPost home delivery rather than a locker delivery? You just scan the barcode on the printed label at the locker.

There’s the option to turn off the Inpost home delivery option if you don’t want to print labels, the other options you can have digital labels

Raggydollz · 11/10/2024 17:31

You have to ask the buyer to cancel and rebuy with an inpost digital label

Cherrysoup · 11/10/2024 17:35

Just stick the label on and scan the bar code at the locker, same as if you had a qr code, no difference.

Growlybear83 · 11/10/2024 17:38

As others have said, just scan the bar code. It's a much more reliable service if you print out a label and stick it on and doesn't rely on the courier attaching the correct label. A very large proportion of Vinted parcels which go astray seem to be one with digital labels, when the courier has mixed up the labels.

As above. Print out label. Stick on parcel. Scan barcode on label at the locker. Very easy!

Thank you all that's really helpful.
