To ask if anyone works in finance or at Monzo who can help me?

Hopefully someone can shed light on a situation for me.

In July, I bought some software from a vendor in the USA for my work. The next month, I was looking through my statement and saw a seemingly random transaction for PayHut in Hong Kong. I couldn't work out what the transaction was and queried it with Monzo. But rather than investigate it like I expected, Monzo immediately refunded it. Which I didn't want to happen at that point.

On August 13th, my software license deactivated and I got an email from the software vendor asking why I had reclaimed my money as fraud. Turns out the PayHut transaction was from them. I hadn't worked it out as the initial transaction was in USD and obviously the amount taken from my account was in GBP and was subsequently an odd figure.

Upon realising this, I immediately asked Monzo to return the money. In fact, I had to ask Monzo countless times to return the money. Long story short, it took weeks for this to happen, but the money finally left my account again two weeks ago.

My software is still disabled and the vendor said it's waiting for my bank to respond to the dispute. But I have proof that the money was returned two weeks ago.

I've messaged PayHut to see if it is holding the money, but not had a reply yet. Likewise, I have asked Monzo what's happening and I'm still waiting on a reply.

I desperately need to use the software and if I knew this would drag on for two months +, I'd have asked them to accept the refund back to me and I'd have just bought the software again.

Anyone know anything I can do to get things moving? Monzo takes ages to reply and over the last few weeks agents have been contradicting advice from one another. Meanwhile, the vendor is adamant it hasn't had the money back.
