Just the thread title really.
It's October. It's actually a bit sunny.
There's nearly a 1/4 of the year til Christmas.

Um, but you've just created one!!! (Tho yes, I think talk or Christmas should be banned til December)

vodkaredbullgirl · 07/10/2024 17:17

So you started another one 😆 same with Halloween and every other celebration.

Ella31 · 07/10/2024 18:19

Your post is genuinely the first I've seen in ages about Christmas 🎄

MargaretThursday · 07/10/2024 18:20

Bah humbug to you too!

TickingAlongNicely · 07/10/2024 18:21

Hide the Christmas topic?

FuzzyGoblin · 07/10/2024 18:21

YABU because I’ve hardly seen anything about Christmas this year.

the best way to have a low-stress Christmas is to start the planning and work as early as possible.

you don’t have to read threads that don’t interest you.

Yes if you're not planning two years ahead you're doing it wrong OP.

This.

And all the threads about wealth or lack thereof. Eg my sister earns £150k and her husband earns double that. Are they wealthy? Or AIBU to think that, if you earn £40k, you are wealthy?

Or the irritating number of threads where a woman has 'had a little cry', is 'having a little cry' or has 'spent 2 hours crying'. How does anyone find the time to spend hours crying? Don't you get bored of just crying? Is there no point when you could just think, "I've been doing this for 25 minutes now. I wonder if I could just... stop..? Oh, look, yep, stopped crying!"

I tend to just avoid threads where the title announces to me I wouldn't be interested but the 'little cry' ones catch me unawares sometimes.

Pandasnacks · 07/10/2024 19:07

Other than on the Christmas board this is the only 'Christmas post' I've seen this year. So you can't be that sick of them.
