To think that the bloke at Sainsburys should have tied up his huge Alsatian outside the entrance?

Because this huge dog was not only wandering in and out of the store but also furkling (is that a word?) in peoples bags then nosing at my little boy as we tried to get past him. Owner was in the queue and making half hearted noises at his dog to 'stay outside, Butch' (yep not kidding) When challenged he just made a face and muttered at me. huh

It's people like that who make it hard for other dog owners, who are responsible. Makes me mad!

Well, I don't think dogs should be tied up outside stores or left wandering about - so either way, I don't think you are being unreasonable...

Agree with SDR - it's behaviour like that that gives all dog owners a bad name....

(and before I get flamed... I have a 5YOu dog, have had him since he was 7weeks old and have never had to leave him wandering about or tied up outside a large shop.....)

Yep it was loose - I was and the attitude of the owner when I pointed out that this dog was pushing at my little boy was just unbelievable.

yes its stupid

but the store should have done something

aside from anything else, surely dogs aren't allowed in food shops?
