Very good friend wants to go on the programme "Come dine with me" They are coming to see her on Wednesday and want to start filming 19th May. Friend thinks her flat is too small and poky and wants to borrow my house. Nearly agreed but remember seeing the programme where other diners are really nosy, look in the bedrooms and make comments . I've said I'll think about it.....

I know someone who was on the xmas special of come dine with me. I lurve that programme.

WigWamBam · 22/04/2008 15:19

Unless you want your home on TV then tell her to get lost. She should have thought about the size of her flat before she applied for the programme!

RubySlippers · 22/04/2008 15:21

nooooooo - she needs to use her house so we can all be judgy judgy about it

that programme is one of my guilty pleasures mainly because of the amount of snooping which goes on

lackaDAISYcal · 22/04/2008 15:21

If you think she's being unreasonable why have you said you'll think about it in the first place.

Just say No, you don't have to justify yourself to her I don't think

bellavita · 22/04/2008 15:21

Think the filming goes on for a couple of days.

RubySlippers · 22/04/2008 15:21

if you do it, and she wins, she should split the prize money with you

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 22/04/2008 15:23

There was one recently where the guy used his friends house ad they all realised and marked him down because of it.

Tell her to do it at hers!

They won't accept her if they can't fit all the crew in anyway.

YouCantTeuchThis · 22/04/2008 15:24

didn't she see the one with the guy, and the christmas lights, and more lights, and more lights??

YouCantTeuchThis · 22/04/2008 15:25

Offer to do it at your house but you appear in the programme and she does the cooking...

YouCantTeuchThis · 22/04/2008 15:25

(secretly, like)

Pablop · 22/04/2008 15:29

because lackaDAISYcal, it seemed quite funny last night, she is a good friend but always doing something whacky. It was after our conversation on the phone that I thought hang on, I won't be able to hide in the bedroom because nosy diners may come in so I'll have to be out for the day/night?

bellavita filming for a couple of days! thats a no then.

cheeky mare said she would take some of my pictures down and put some of hers up..
