To wonder what the hell has got into my nearly 4 year old?

Overnight his energy levels have doubled, tripled, quadrupled. He runs up and down the house, literally doing circuits, spins round in mad circles over and over, then resumes the running.

I know it sounds like he’s done nothing for days and been cooped up but he’s done loads as he always does

Is he overtired? Minw used to literally run in circles when very tired.

I don’t think so!

but my god he’s boisterous!

Is he coming down with something, sometines my Dd got like this just as she was getting ill

Diet? Over tired?

Different foods?
Is he brewing a bug?
Too much sugar?
Growth spurt?

I don’t know but I am exhausted!

He has taken to climbing up me like I am a wall or something!

Off to the park for some puddle jumping

He obviously has energy - puddle jumping would burn that energy off and let him run around and wear himself out

Mine went mildly psychotic before his chicken pox came out..

The most likely explanation is that he's a 4 year old boy.
You could almost be describing my grandson, 4 this month.
