Christmas is always a stress.

This time of year. This exact time. Summer is gone. The days are getting shorter. It's dark, it's colder, it's wet. The bright lights of Christmas aren't even here yet to cheer us up. Plus something awful happened to me at this time of year, and as weird as it sounds, those feelings come back very easily when the weather reminds me.

I know January is darker and colder, but at least the days are getting longer again by that point, and the hope for summer and spring keeps me going.

Summer.

The heat is one thing.
But the pressure to try and give DD a 6 week holiday of memories and making the most of the weather and holidays abroad etc.

And people calling you miserable and a fun killer if you dislike the heat or if you don't drink alcohol or if you don't enjoy sitting in beer gardens listing to idiots talking bollocks.

I find all that way more stressful than Christmas tbh.

Me too for all the reasons you've listed!
