To believe that “the best revenge is living well?”

I’ve often heard this phrase, and it makes me wonder about its truth. Is focusing on your own happiness and success truly the best way to respond to those who have wronged you? Or do you think there are situations where standing up for yourself is more important? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!

This is what i practice.
I also got to the point of indifference with my ex husband.. Took a few years to get there.
My adult sons have no interest in him either.

To me the opposite of love is indifference not hate.

I got revenge on a workmate 35 years ago.
I still see them occasionally and still have a little smirk to myself that I got them back for what they did.
Im certainly enjoying my revenge!

Case in point - Look at Alice Evans. She is 100% the opposite of "living well" and look where that is getting her.

So yes. Absolutely, wholeheartedly believe that the best revenge is living well.
