What made you realise a job wasn’t for you?

I am struggling a lot recently with my job, mainly due to constantly being given more work with nothing in return. I’m questioning whether it is my time to try something completely new.
AIBU in asking what made you realise you were worth more than the job you were in?

I think you just know when you're ready to change. I've left jobs I've loved due to dickhead managers. I give them a try first but have no issues sacking them.

If you've told your manager you're at capacity and they're ignoring you, then definitely look for something else. Sometimes you have to stand up for yourself.

I've reached that point with my job I think, I've been there 6 years and it's convenient but it's soo much work for minimum wage and don't feel appreciated at all.

I realised no one had my back in some quite stressful situations and I was lying awake on a Sunday thinking...'Shit, work tomorrow'. I never have that in my new job. So glad I moved.
