I had an interview for an internal promotion two weeks ago now. I had to prep a presentation and do the interview, which was tricky as I’m on maternity leave with a 10 week old baby.
Since the interview I’ve had no feedback. I chased via email 2 days ago and no one has responded. I’m presuming I didn’t get it but AIBU to think it’s poor form not to update candidates either way?
My manager who interviewed me previously said I was ready to promote and that she would ‘fight for it’ so if I didn’t get it I want some robust feedback really!
