Ideally Marylebone or Soho

Ideally but not necessary a cuisine that's harder to get outside London

Thank you!

I know it's a chain(ish .. don't think they operate outside of London) but Burger and Lobster in Soho is great.

Probably more on the lobster side than the burger side.

I really love dishoom. Always excellent food and drinks.

Have you tried Nessa, it's a gorgeous British restaurant in Soho. I had a battered seabass with caviar and warm tartare sauce, which was incredible, and the desserts are something else. Really good food and the restaurant is beautiful.

I love Jikoni

Cay tre - Vietnamese in soho (not the best Vietnamese in London but viet food is always wonderful and hard to get out of London)

lao cafe - Laotian food near soho!

dishoom - always great

circolo popolare - Italian so easy to get outside London, but the venue is gorg and you can get carbonara served in a Parmesan (& great cocktails)

royal china - great Chinese food near marylebone

Brasserie Zedel - French food near Piccadilly, the venue is v special

Delamina is lovely - the one in Marylebone is (I think) the original but there is now also one in Soho.

Speedboat Bar in Soho for Thai

Cloth in Farringdon is very lovely and if you can get a table, the Devonshire is fantastic (though not food you wouldn’t get outside London it is incredibly well done and good value).

Oh if you like the look of Circo Populare but can’t get a table try sister restaurant Carlotta in Marylebone.
