My sisters birthday is in November and the weather is always awful. I'm struggling to think what we could do as a family (our mum, me, my sister, my sisters husband and my sisters two young kids) apart from go for a meal. Any ideas please? Thank you. I'm in the North West.

You need to start with her. What does she like? I’d go for Sunday lunch at a good food pub.

Oh you can do most things suggested then. You might find some good attractions near you or exhibitions (interactive can be good) or Christmas markets.
