trying to report fraud to NatWest been on hold on phone for 50 minutes. Yes 50 mins

This is ridiculous. Helping someone elderly who doesnt use online banking.

This is just unreasonable. The UK is fucked isn't it?

Nothing works and everything is so difficult. It never used to be like this. You used to call and people would answer.

Who has the time to hang on for this long? No one would think this was a fair time to wait.

ita a sad fact that fraud is on the increase. It’s entirely possible that they’re having a busy day for whatever reason which in itself is scary.

But tbh everyone should be using online banking. I do realise that for some it is difficult, but the reality is online and self service is the future.

I adore First Direct. Been with them 30 years. Always get straight through and their fraud spotting is amazing. They once spotted fraud based on the fact someone was buying expensive shoes and it was against my pattern of things I spend money on.
