Has anyone signed up for the Coldplay presale? This is for the dates that they are playing next year in Wembley and Hull.

I think that we are supposed to get an email about it tomorrow

I think I’m done with these big ticketmaster queues. I managed to get 3 standing tickets (not realising my DS wouldn’t be able to be in standing until afterwards so my dad is coming instead). I’ve managed to get oasis tickets and Taylor but the stress, the organisation and just the pure rage of queues kicking you out, thinking you’re a bit, queues not moving, websites crashing… I am over it

3-4 hours in a queue, while a lot of us are trying to work aswell

No luck today either, DH was in the queue all morning, didn’t get to the front till gone 1pm and then there were no tickets.

I actually think something will have to done about the bots, they always threaten that they will cancel tickets that are put on resale sites and it never happens. I think being allowed to buy 6 tickets was unfair too.

Even though I totally disagree with the likes of via gogo etc, there’s something to be said for just going online and buying a ticket. I think they should make so many tickets available at local music shops like the ‘olden’ days, gives everyone a fair chance and also helps local small businesses

I’ve been to loads of gigs over the years but this has been an awful process. I waited online all morning yesterday and today and got nothing. I feel very ranty! I think you need a UK postcode to get one and all the viagogo ones should be cancelled, if you genuinely want to resell you have to use Ticketmaster or Twickets and sell at face value only. Am fewmin.

Gutted I never got tickets today. I was 25,000 in the queue and then it wouldn't let me pick any. Yesterday I got on very fast for presale but it kept saying there wasn't any as well. I even search for one by itself, I would quite happily dance and sing the night away solo. 😂

Luckily, I saw the music of the spheres tour in Dublin last month and it was amazing. I had my son a few weeks before and a difficult birth so had to keep sitting down but I enjoyed it anyway.

Didn’t get any today. Did get Oasis ones in the second round which was a breeze compared to both today and Oasis round 1

Yes you still needed to be lucky to get a code but splitting the sale into three equal queues with same number of tickets in each sale was definitely a better approach than what we saw yesterday and today

Also I wish they would let you choose a date after you get to the front of the queue because you are “stuck” on one date now they are cracking down on multiple tabs open - only thing they do seem to be cracking down on, not doing anything about the bots

I'm holding out (very marginally) for infinity tickets in November. Can sign up on their website.

I've just found the sign up page but is it legit? There's a spelling error in it for a start - brought instead of bought

I went to the official coldplay site and there is a place to sign up for alerts for infinity tickets.

It doesn't have the word "bought" or "brought" on that page

This site. It seems legit but the brought is concerning. That said you're giving them no data bar an email address.

Where did you find them @Abbylikeswine because there's no links on their page I can see.

Have signed up for the Infinity Tickets- guessing there is very little chance but thought I would try. I wonder if they will announce any more shows , like Oasis did?

Now I've overcome the trauma of buying the tickets, I'm starting to get excited about next year

I've been a fan on coldplay for 20 years and I've never seen them. I'll be seeing them for the first time next year finally!

I'm laughing about the ticket sales now.

I literally had my laptop in the passenger seat of my car, still in the Coldplay queue, while I was driving around.

I'm extremely excited! I took my 7 year old to a Moon Music listening event at the cinema on Wednesday night and we saw a video of We Pray at the end. He knew we had tickets for Coldplay but I don't think he really processed it until he saw the video and the shots in the stadium. I can't wait to experience that with him.
Getting tickets is always a nightmare but worth every minute in the queues and all the stress.
