It shouldn't be allowed.

After a huge organising of toys I now have a list of 7 different types of battery to buy, and no doubt they will be overpriced.I wouldn't be bothered but most were bought by MIL and last time she visited she told us we were 'depriving' the children by not replacing the batteries.

Humph, Grump.

Ask her to bring batteries down when she visits! Or to supplly the required amount for the year with the pressie!!
