To feel uncomfortable with friends who frequently discuss their personal finances?

I have friends who frequently talk about their salaries, investments, and financial status. While I understand it’s important to them, it often feels intrusive and makes me feel uncomfortable. AIBU to feel this way and prefer discussions that aren’t centred around money?

Of course YANBU.

You can be uncomfortable with anything you want. For you it's money/finances. Other people might not want to talk/hear about children or family or work or parental relationships or romantic relationships etc etc.

You're free to feel how you feel.

YABU. Secrecy around finances is how so many people end up in debt. Why not be open and honest about things if you have nothing to hide?
