I work in a nursery and keep noticing one of the staff is a bit abrupt/overly firm with the children. She takes them to the room after their dinner to be with the other practitioners and she just says go in there now, they get upset and cry. She just shoves them off really and is a bit too rough with them I feel. She was going for her lunch and had children wanting to climb on her so she said right leave me alone now, I’m going for my lunch. I just thought it was mean telling them to leave her alone. Would you report?

If you feel she's physically mistreating them then of course you should report, but the rest of it just sounds like different people doing different things.

Yes, if I had any qualms I would report her so people can keep a closer eye on her.

Definitely report it. Parents are paying to have their kids kept safe and happy

If you have genuine concerns that a colleague is shoving or being rough with children then you have a moral and professional obligation to report it.
