To think that Student Finance England need to stop with all the letters

Got 2 boys at uni and we are completely overwhelmed with the number of confusing letters we are currently receiving from SfE. Sometimes 4 a day ...
Our issue is that both DH and I are self-employed, so have to estimate our income each year, then submit our actual income once we have tax returns filed. We understand, therefore, that there is always going to be something of a juggling act with estimates, awards and repayments etc.
But the amount of these sodding letters! All automated, none of them spelling out specific details ... just random figures with no explanation at how they are arrived at, and often referringtopast years. Then another letter 4 days later with a different amount ... I just feel a bit of personalisation wouldn't go amiss ...
Anyone else??

Are the letters addressed to you or your sons?

I know I switched to paperless, except annual statement I think. There was a way on my SFE account to change contact options, maybe something could try? Not certain but think they send an email when a letter is uploaded but not 100% on that so be careful.

My Son left Uni over 10 years ago, we haven’t had any correspondence for over 5 years, we cannot access his account online as he has changed email address and mobile telephone number.
