Mine is a lyric from a Julien Baker song, and about setting personal boundaries in place.

FATMAN SCOOP! CROOKLYN CLAN!

If you know, you know.

(If you don’t - it’s a lyric from the song Be Faithul by Fatman Scoop (RIP). It was played on every night out when I was a fresher at uni.)

Rigatone · 19/09/2024 19:27

Pasta, but someone already had Rigatoni

FrivolousKitchenRollUse · 19/09/2024 19:27

Fairly self explanatory. Minor amount of food on an item of cutlery - wipe with kitchen roll. Spillage anywhere - kitchen roll. Made poached eggs - lay them on a kitchen roll and dab with another kitchen roll before putting on the toast to get rid of the excess water. Sauce left on plate after eating - wipe with kitchen roll before washing. Cooked bacon - dab with kitchen roll to remove fat. I don't really have tissues in the house as if I need to blow my nose, you guessed it.

A phrase my daughter was compelled to type as a child before typing text on a computer 🖥️

KendraTheVampyrSlayer · 19/09/2024 19:48

Self-explanatory if you've ever watched Buffy.

Rigatone · 19/09/2024 19:52

@EngineEngineNumber9 🤩

PussGirl · 19/09/2024 19:55

Always use one of my cat’s nicknames for mine.

troppibambini6 · 19/09/2024 19:58

I'm from an Italian family and I have too many kids (6)

Chickychoccyegg · 19/09/2024 20:03

When my kids were much smaller, we saw chickychoccyeggs at Easter in m&s, they thought the name was hilarious so I made it my name to remember a cute memory

TheCrowFromBelow · 19/09/2024 20:20

From Vic & Bob - I’m the Dove from Above’s stand in.

NotyouGuillermo · 19/09/2024 20:25

What we do in the shadows. The TV show not the film, although both are hilarious.

I name change and just look at what's next to me at any given point.

Me too. Last time, there was a roll of black bin bags on the floor.

VeterinaryCareAssistant · 19/09/2024 20:31

Mine is after my job which I love and think about all the time.

But I might change it to "Carl Should Have Lived" as I'm finally binge watching The Walking Dead and I'm on season 8 and massively pissed off that the writers killed off Carl!

theriseandfallofFranklinSaint · 19/09/2024 20:39

SNOWFALL.

The best drama series I've ever watched. I was so gutted when the last episode had finished.

I've never met anyone else who has ever watch it either 😯

Wellfuckmesideways · 19/09/2024 20:39

<Whistles innocently>

No idea, just kinda came to me

Faffertea · 19/09/2024 21:07

I faff and drink tea 🤷‍♀️

Black Books is also a brilliant, funny series written by Graham Linehan.

Dailymauifan · 19/09/2024 21:18

DailyMaui did the best live parking thread ever 😁 with brilliant diagrams and even a Donkey Dog thrown in. So my name is in homage to her...

Fireangels · 19/09/2024 21:25

I’m in the fire service - it’s a brand of smoke detector!

Alma Cogan was a singer of the 1950's and 60's who wore splendiferously fancy evening gowns -as a child saw her several times at theatres in Blackpool when holidaying in nearby Thornton Cleveleys, and was blown away by the creations she appeared in!

John Lennon had a huge crush on her, I think?

Cabdiraxman · 19/09/2024 22:37
