I saw this weird Etsy Figure after almost jumping out of my skin at an advert for a ‘Rocktopus’.

It seems to be very popular so maybe I’m missing something that others can see that makes it a desirable object?

I can’t sleep so was just having a little browse and now I’m really curious if anyone would actually spend £115 on this? To be honest the Rocktopus was more disturbing and equally as popular but it was cheaper at an affordable £8!

Maybe I’m just boring and am missing their charm?

A colleague got one in secret Santa last year! He seems to love it, it's on his desk

My DC has a Pickleous Cage! It's just freaky and I hate it (love the actual Nic Cage though) but to irritate me they take it with us on trips to the cinema. Pickleous has to sit and watch the film in the cup holder.
I would post a picture but DC hides him so that I don't 'accidently' throw him away.

So, I looked at the Etsy figure (weird) and then paged down to "you may also like..."

I have a Rocktopus. He sits atop my clock! It's just a bit of daft fun, I know some people are dull about things like that but live and let live.

The frog has a strange charm about it. I mean, it's not attractive but there's something about it. Not at £100+ though.

Am I missing something with the “rocktopus” is it a famous person’s face? That does make it more funny and less creepy.

I might see if I can get one made with DP’s head on and gift it to him… actually maybe not, that would be very off putting 😂.
