I came across the song 'Doll People' by Sofia Izella on social media and I think it's really powerful. It's very hard hitting on the topic of the disempowerment and abuse of women. But I have shown it to a couple of friends and they are either creeped out or unmoved. I'd really like some opinions from you all.

I can appreciate the lyrics and its expression on an artistic level, but I can’t say I like or enjoy this as it’s not what I look for in enjoyment of music.

It’s like books and film for some people – I enjoy quite powerful books and films, even if they arouse negative feelings. My DH reads and watches films purely for positive enjoyment.

I see what you mean @Didimum . I do enjoy songs that make me think, even if they are not 'enjoyable' as such!
