To ask for help find wellies for chunky foot toddler

I’ve posted before about my toddlers chunky feet lol and having to buy expensive shoes as choices are limited etc.
Now I’m asking for help buying wellies please. 🙏
we go to an independent shoe shop, but they are limited in wellies sizes unfortunately.

And the other independent shoe shop that had lots closed down.
there is a Clark’s nearby and I know they do wide fit but the last two times we went to Clark’s I lost faith on the fit and service (I know not all Clark’s will be like this that was just my experience) so I’d rather not go back there if possible.
my toddler has wide feet and a high instep and I have come to peace with the fact I have to not care about the cost and just buy what fits best (everything else is Vinted & hand me downs etc)
I did try to save money buy shoes online in past but had to send them all back or give away as none could accommodate such a wide foot and high instep.
any recommendations on how to get wellies that fit my toddler properly? The legs are not a problem, it’s just the feet!

Am I best just going to Clark’s and measure before hand? Or any other brands worth trying?

Try crocs. The others that fitted DS with similar sounding feet were cheap own brand ones from a garden centre.

Jojo Maman Bebe have lovely rubber wellies that are nice and wide. My DS's feet were too wide for crocs!

oh interesting, i know a children’s shoe shop that sells crocs wellies but that’s an hours drive away… (but will go there if needed!)
but we do have a jojo in town so could try that first!
thanks ☺️

We also went down the Crocs route for our wide-footed children.

Have you tried snow boots? They tend to be a bit wider and generally warmer. Wellies are notoriously cold, I once had a pair of hunters for the stables, as slippery as fook and chuffing freezing, even with extra socks and welly liners.

I don't know if you have a Dunnes Stores near you, but they are the only wellies that fit my extra chunky of foot and leg toddler! They can be got on Vinted too, I bought a spare pair or nursery from there.
