I know that IABU, but DH is reading to DS and keeps calling Soren Lorenson . . .

Sven Lorenson! I'm having to restrain myself from rushing in there and forcing him to sound out the syllables like a primary school teacher.

It's so annoying, I can't believe how much it's winding me up. Aaaagh.

He needs to be told pronto, nip it in the bud.

My DH pronounces Piglet (from Pooh) Pig-er-lette, which is equally hand wringingly irritating.

I have decided that the way to tackle it is to train DS to correct him. That way DH will not be able to imply that I am an uptight, bossy control-freak (which I'm not, obviously).

Pig-er-lette is very, very annoying. Did you correct him?

Well I'm trying to in a subtle manner by casually mentioning Piglet whenever possible.

Your idea of child correction is genius. I will have a little chat with dd1 in the morning.
