Gabby’s doll house is awesome but Lego is always best

My kids (7 and 3) love Gabby’s dolls house - I think it’s great ! So I’m saving up to get a dollhouse for my youngest’s 4th birthday in a month’s time . Would you think that the normal or Lego version is better value in terms of playing time ? I’ve been looking off fb and both would cost approximately the same second hand . AIBU to choose Lego just so
I can have the fun of putting it together with them ?

I would (and have!) Bought the Gabby Dollhouse toy as DD3's Santa Present, and then she also has the very small Gabby Lego Set with Cakey (under £10).

I think for that age - DD is nearly 4 too, the actual Dollhouse toy has more playing potential though, although we did need to buy the figure pack too to go in it.

I’d go with lego one. We got the dollhouse and it’s flimsy plastic that is hardly ever played with. I know of several others who have got it and found the same. We have a smaller wooden dollhouse and it gets loads more play. At least with the lego
you get the fun of building it and it’s easier to store away if they lose interests
