I'm thinking about going with marble countertops in the kitchen and embracing the patina as it ages, but I'd like to know what to expect 2 years, 5 years, 10 years down the line. I'd be really grateful for any photos from people who've had marble worktops for ages - show me the WORST of your staining / etches etc! And how about chips - has anyone had a chip so bad it couldn't be repaired? If relevant, it would be honed marble, not the polished stuff. And I'd seal it. Thank you!
