Tell me about your amazing UK summer holiday with toddler and pre teen?

Posting here for traffic....so looking at holidays next year and really need ideas! We'll have a nearly 3 year old and 9 year old DD. It would be great to hear from people that had a great holiday this year and with children of similar ages. Thanks!

We went to The Netherlands to stay at a safari park called Beekse Bergen and visited Efteling. We don't have a preteen but it's a good holiday for all ages I feel.
