Neighbours dog

Every night without exception our neighbours dog barks for 10-20 minutes at 11/11.30pm. And tonight I’ve just had enough and shouted ‘STFU’ very loudly and I know they heard because they then told the dog to be quiet.

I thinking of reporting it. It’s driving me mental because I’m in bed & it often wakes me up.

They never walk the dog,‘it’s hugely over weight.

It's such a big problem. An extra 3 million + extra dogs since before lockdown. Half the people don't know how to look after them, can't be bothered to walk them, don't pick up dog poo and leave them to bark all day.

It is unacceptable. If it's causing that much of an issue then report as a noise complaint or to the RSPCA if it's being neglected.

Thanks. This isn’t a lockdown dog, they had it before- poor thing. Honestly 5 years that I’ve lived here that dog has not left the house! It barks in the garden too but I can put up with that, it’s just the late night barking I can’t stand!

Im going to write them a note & see if that helps. If not I’ll report as you suggest, ( or just put the house on the market as I hate confrontation 😂)…
