Not really aibu, more advice. For a few month Ives steadily been dropping weight I've gone from 8.8stone to today being 7.2st my bmi is 16.6. I'm 25 years old. I've had 2 full blood counts over the past few months all within the normal range. My doctor referred me for an urgent scan last week but I'm still waiting on a date. What can I do to preserve myself in the meantime. I've spent weeks eating cheeses, fatty and sugary foods and I'm still dropping weight.

What other blood tests have they checked, have they done thyroid and HBA1C do you know?

Do you also eat full meals or are you a bit of a picker? Only asking because I eat a ridiculous amount of chocolate but am still underweight and not gaining, but I rarely eat actual meals.

Yes thyroid was done too, liver and kidneys also, I tend to snack most the way through the day and have a meal in the evening time

Hi OP, could you eat regular balanced meals? So a good breakfast and lunch as well as the evening meal if you are worried about weight loss?

There's your answer
You need calorie and nutritionally dense meals 3x a day and snacks. Stop exercising if you do.

I'm 15 bmi and in all my years have never gone over 17. If I don't eat 3 meals a day I lose weight fast. When I snack I don't put on any weight even snacking on choc, hummus, high calorie stuff that a nurse actually suggested once. Stress and anxiety also make me lose weight uncontrollably....

I'd go heavy on nut butters which are high in calories and make sure you are eating enough complex carbs and protein.

This is the same way I have eaten for years and always maintained my weight. What causes the sudden change?

This is what I've been doing trying to eat as much carbs as possible, I'm still losing weight 🤔
