What great books are actually worth reading?

Just that, so many “great” books are dull and esoteric.

But which did you actually enjoy?

I personally loved Love In The Time of Cholera and Anna Karenina

Great Expectations is brilliant.

Jane Eyre is fab.

I love Wuthering Heights but the writing style isn’t for everyone.

1984 is excellent.
