STI Or Something Else?

A bit of a strange dilemma I've found myself in.

My OH told me a few days ago that it was stinging when he had a wee. I thought it a bit odd that he just came out with it but asked if maybe it was a UTI or kidney stones perhaps. He wasn't too bothered, had a little Google and said oh I think I know what it is, it should be fine. I told him he should really see the GP to be on the safe side but he refuses (he refuses to see a GP about anything tbh)

Anyway, I'm now a bit worried it could be an STI? I believe he wouldnt cheat on me but there's a tiny part of me that's questioning it...

What do I do? I've ordered a testing kit for myself because I just feel like I need to know for absolute certain but do I mention it beforehand or play my cards close, do the test, and then wait and see what the results are?

I'm really worried this may turn out for the worst and I'll be left as a single Mum to our young DS... But it could also be something as silly as a UTI. I have no idea where my heads at with it all

Op it could be a UTI but unless he goes to the doctor neither of you will know. Frustrating

@shellyleppard This is my thinking too but I don't want to come right out and say to him well I need you to check incase it's something like an STI as I think he'll just take that as me not trusting him... Why are so many men so stubborn about seeing a doctor 🙄 I'm also not sure he'd have come straight out with telling me about it, if he even had the tiniest thought it might be an STI but my brain overthinks everything

@ladybird30 it must be so annoying. Try and get him to drink more, if problem persist insist in doctors visit??
