OK, how tall is too tall for a bloke when you are 5ft 5 woman?

Do you have a limit?

Bizarre question but no, no limit. I’m 5’7” and my DP is 6’5”.

Comedycook · 01/09/2024 14:22

This is something I have never considered

TheClawDecides · 01/09/2024 14:24

I'm 5ft 3" and I don't think there really is a 'too tall'.

Mainly because anything over 5ft 6" and I'm having to reach up anyway 🤷‍♂️

GoldenPineapple15 · 01/09/2024 14:24

would you seriously potentially dismiss the love of your life because of height ?

Wingedharpy · 01/09/2024 14:24

Over 10 foot would be an issue for me personally.

Arlanymor · 01/09/2024 14:24

My mum is 5ft and my dad is 6ft 4 - it’s all about the personalities that fit into their respective stature, not their actual heights at all.

lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 01/09/2024 14:25

Height is a huge thing in on line dating - not so much in every day life!

I am 5'2 so there are rarely any men too short for me - but plenty who I'd look v short with. But that happens in real life too. Have you seen Simone Biles and her husband!

Tootsey11 · 01/09/2024 14:28

He is 6ft6, just looks like a giant next to me.

SwiftiesVSLestat · 01/09/2024 14:31

Not sure there is a too tall for a woman of a certain height.

If you feel uncomfortable by his height or anything else, end it.

Most people probably won’t care or make crap jokes about it. I am 5ft 8in and do is 6ft 4in. When we first got together I used to feel really small at the side of him. 7 years later I don’t really think about it.

Fraaahnces · 01/09/2024 14:34

I dated someone 7ft2 for a couple of years and I’m 5ft. We only broke up because he had to move back to Sweden. People DID comment a lot and there were lots of personal questions about whether or not everything was in proportion. Very rude.

marriednotdead · 01/09/2024 14:35

My ex is 6’6”, I’m an inch shorter than you and he’s dated shorter women than me since.
At his height, people comment anyway so the height difference between you is of no consequence.

username44416 · 01/09/2024 14:36

There was a man I found attractive but he was so tall! I came up to his waist and I'm 5'5. I would say he was 6'7 or 8. Too tall.

Paisleydad · 01/09/2024 14:43

Man here.

FWIW, my ex was 5'11" I'm 5'8". It was never an issue for us other than in bed. She monopolised the hot water bottle......

Laughed out loud at that 😂

ALPHAFEMALESINCEBIRTH · 01/09/2024 16:46

every persons preference is so different

me example im 6ft but only like men shorter than me

men needs to be shaved(ive mild pogonophobia, disgust rather than fear)

i also only like baby girl, soft boys types
and of thy can sing then im putty

so a pretty face, shorter than me singer is my preference (im obsessed with 90s boybands)

so to answer your question under 6ft for me and shaved

ive only ever had the 1 partner(we were together 22 years) and he was 5ft 6 and a baby girl type

FinallyHere · 01/09/2024 19:28

Actual height is much less important for me than, well shoulders, chest and upper body posture.

Can't abide small or hunched shoulders.
