To ask how the hell to get this out of my son's top....

My son had the dentist the other day and got 2 large stickers which he put straight on his football shirt which he was wearing. Stupid me didn't take them off before throwing it into the washing machine, there's now a white/grey sticky mark where the sticker was and I can't get it off for love nor money...

Oil should help, oil gets sticky stuff out, or you could get sticky stuff remover.

Yes, sticky stuff remover which should dissolve the residue, then wash again.

Oil may leave an oily stain!
Id stick neat fairy liquid on it and leave for as long as possible, giving it a rub every so often. Rinse well before putting in the machine though.

If the suggestions above don't work, message Nancy Birtwistle on Instagram, unless you have her books already, the woman is a genius at removing all sorts of stains without using chemicals. My whole patio and toilets are spectacular after her advice!

I've tried fairy liquid, which usually works a treat but it didn't budge at all.

A little wary of using oil as don't want it to stain. Although I suppose you could say it's stained already!

Will have a look on Amazon for sticky stuff remover!

Also just followed Nancy!

Hand sanitizer (the kind with alcohol) or rubbing alcohol from the pharmacy should work. (The smell evaporates.)

Elbow grease spray. Great for stickers and stains on clothes

Cheap shops sell sticky stuff remover (basically orange oil and surfactants )
