Tooth extraction healing

Is this healing as it should? I did a salt rinse and a part of the extraction site came out, was it a piece of food and how it’s healing? Or did I manage to remove a piece of tissue that was healing? The photos are in order, for the last photo it’s today and it’s my 5th day.

That all looks normal to me, you will get some food trapped around the site and it may look a bit grim for a bit! I would just suggest being very gentle with your rinses. I've had a couple of teeth extracted and had dry socket with one and in my experience it is definitely lead by pain, are you in any pain?

There’s no pain but sometimes it feels like a bit of an ache on the 2 front teeth from the extracted site.

If there is no pain I would think it's healing well. The bit that came out could be tooth left behind or anything. I had exactly the same tooth out and it hurt for ages! A little bit of tooth got left in mine but fell out after about a week

@rosepetalsss I found with the ones I had out that didn't have dry socket, I got an ache 2-3 days after being taken out but it's literally the gums and bone healing/growing. Dry socket is very painful and you would absolutely know by now if that was happening. Hope you're feeling better ❤️
