Discerning moths

We currently have a slight issue with moths. Nothing major, just DH has found a few holes in his Marino wool jumpers. I’m deploying all the usual techniques to get rid.

The odd thing is that they only seem interested in the merino wool jumpers. I have lots of natural fibre and wool clothes in the same wardrobe, same washing pile, and same house and they are all untouched.

Any reason they prefer the jumpers? Luck? DH’s pheromones? The taste?

You've acquired a better class of moth! 😂
No, it's that merino wool has more keratin than other wools, which is a good protein source for them. And it retains its lanolin, which they like (why not?). Also, merino wool fibres are finer than other wools, so it's easier for them to get through. (Probably cashmere would be even more popular.)
