3d cinema

Posting here for traffic.

If I go to the cinema to see a 3d movie, can I take red and blue lense glasses that I've already got to save buying the cinema ones?

Is there any difference to what they provide and charge for?

No you can't bring your own red/blue ones. That's not how cinema 3D works.

In my experience, cinema glasses aren't the red and blue kind, they're the polarised kind that look like sunglasses. You could take yours and check before buying another pair just in case.

To add, they're cheap to buy in the cinema, I think I paid £1 for mine which I bought to see the Avatar sequel a couple of years ago, and you can obviously keep them so you don't have to buy them again.
