But can anyone help identify what the hell this is on my inner thigh?

I’ve had it about 3 weeks and it’s not getting smaller. Originally wasn’t painful but now is if something touches it a certain way. I’ve tried squeezing as I thought it was an ingrown hair but decided not to go too hard incase it wasn’t. It’s definitely lumpy and outward and not just a mark on the skin.

Sorry for the unflattering photos but it’s the only way to get a clear picture without it blurring.

It’s hard, in real life it is quite round. Not sure if the squiggle is a vein, which is why I didn’t want to squeeze very hard.

Could it be an insect bite that's got infected?

May be worth asking MNHQ to move thread to 'Sporner Corner' where all the spot geeks hang out.

Thank you @allthepeoplethatcomearound this is what I thought it might be when I had a google but wasn’t sure as I’m in my mid thirties and never had anything like this and it’s suggested that I’d have many if it were the case.

I’ll stop prodding and keep my eye on it and if it doesn’t get better soon pop to the GP as it’s been hanging around a good few weeks now.

Could it be an abscess? I had one quite high on my inner thigh once, had to go to hospital to get it drained.

This looks a little like a stretch mark that has gotten sore or inflamed, I’ve had this on mine before & it looks very similar to your close up photo. It just randomly pops up red & tender for no reason (not linked to an injury on any weight gain) Mine usually go down in a week though so I could be completely wrong
