Anyone else can’t sleep?

Randomly woke up about an hour ago. Checked my phone and some fucker has spent £80 on my card on a gambling site. Funnily enough it was all I had.

Also been suffering with a tight chest and whistling/cracking noises when I breathe for a few days.

Wide awake with the stress of my money being taken. I have tried to go back to sleep but the whistling and crackling is keeping me awake

Yep. Been awake for the last hour coughing and coughing with chest infection. Was in bed at 7pm though so could account for the early wake...

If it was mobile banking some banks let you choose no expenditure on certain items so you could set it to no gambling.

I woke up about 2 hours ago, I've decided to stay at home today. I need to get a sample for hospital and my bedroom is a tip so plenty to do here. Our cleaning lady is coming round so looking forward to coffee and biccies with her.

Good morning! Awake as am at elderly Mums for her 90th next week. It's comfy but much noisier and brighter than at home so I never sleep the first night.
So sorry to hear about your theft OP. Set your account to do double step verification if possible? So unfair on you, hope you get it back if reported.

Even if I could sleep I don’t think I’d be able to as I sound like one of those squeaky dog toys so I’d probably keep myself awake. Kids will have me up in an hour anyway😴

Are you having food and music for your mum? What have you bought her? Is she in sheltered accommodation? My parent is in residential, it's bizarre really as it's like a small flat, it's extremely nice.

Joys of pregnancy insomnia here, probably combined with the sounds of the wind and DH's snoring means I've been awake since 4. Finally admitted defeat and come downstairs to start the day.

I'm torn between cracking on with some work so I can finish early or spending an hour on the baby blanket I'm making. Blanket is more appealing, but I'm starting to struggle sitting at a desk all day, so makes sense to try to clear some stuff before I start to ache and my productivity dips this afternoon...

And I'm sorry to hear about your money OP, I hate being awake with problems that you can't instantly solve... Hopefully the bank can stop the payment when you report it as fraud

Hope you get your money sorted OP. I think with fraud cases they credit the money back straight away and then investigate. At least my bank dies it that way.

I just keep finding myself awake every day between 3am and 4am. Thinking about work even though I'm on annual leave 🙄
Hopefully I'll get a few more zeds in before I have get up. If I was working today this would be me up for the day.

I have multiple blood clots in both lungs, which are slowly clearing. My legs ache and my DH is as miserable as fuck. He goes straight downhill if I’m not well.

I'm awake too,don't seem to sleep very well lately and tiredness means anxiety so a vicious circle I'm stuck in. I hope your bank has sort that transaction OP I did notice mine can block certain things on the app seems like a good idea to to do that just in case

Hallo all tbh I'm often awake now,as an older woman myself there's the nightly wee, but often go back to sleep.
We are having a big family house party in our fave place with food from Waitrose and music from Son and me. Really looking forward to it. I'm buying her a Ring doorbell connected to me so I can keep an eye and communicate easily with her. Well that's the plan! She has a small flat in a managed block but it's Live West, who are crap. Brother lives close by too.

Morning, I'm here cos I might have been burgled yesterday..... or I have a poltergeist. Got a post about it elsewhere. So I am awake worrying about getting things replaced, trying to stop it happening again, etc. I am going to be wrecked all day.

Covid and chest infection keeping me awake. Oh and the bloody storm outside smashing against my windows. I’m also on steroids so currently my body has decided I’m hungry when I’m actually not and I’m craving a Sunday roast.

Awake here too. Just given up listening to the high winds. Got the builders in doing roof work and I’m worried about the membrane they tacked onto the roof.

I’ve had them all week and feel very tired but wired.

Up for coffee and biscuits now, quite peaceful until the traffic starts in earnest

Been awake for hours. Woke up as could hear bathroom tap dripping. It's an old tap I've turned it too much and broke it and now it's gushing water. Stopcock isn't turning the water supply off so now I'm waiting for a plumber.

Also it's unbelievably windy here and the letterbox keeps slamming. Having a nightmare.

I managed to get about half an hours sleep after my last post then DC woke me up now I’m even more tired🙃 On hold to bank now🤞🏼
