My Vinted account and all traces of it have vanished!!

I can't log in, it says not recognised, I checked my emails and I can't find a single email from them despite having purchased from them a few times!! It's like all evidence I had an account has vanished!!

I tried using the forgot password option but they don't send the email to change it.

I've checked every email account I've ever owned and there's nothing. It's so weird!

Never sold anything on there so no foul play on my account. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Not on Vinted, but has happened to my LinkedIn account before. Got hacked, they sent out a bunch of dodgy phishy links to all my contacts and then deleted my account.

Whenever I search for emails through the Mail app they never come up - I wonder if this is what’s happening to you? Can you use your Safari browser on your phone, or log in on your laptop/iPad and search ‘Vinted’ in all mailboxes?

I guess it’s possible they’ve (mistakenly?) deleted your account or someone hacked it and changed the email, but it’s definitely weird to have no trace of the account in your mail!

Also - can you remember your username? Can you ask a friend to look it up in the app or google the username + Vinted and see if the page still exists?

Off the back of this I would get a new bank card and change your email login.

My Vinted got hacked and it was only the fact that my Netflix got hacked that I double checked and realised they had changed the postal address which luckily I caught before they started buying things.

Oh that's interesting. I keep having someone try to access another of my email accounts, as I keep getting multi factor authentication requests so maybe it is that.
