Ex does see our 3 year old regularly/weekly. However it is always on his terms and he will often decide the time or day last minute. He also relies on me HEAVILY for prepping the bag and things like that. He hasn’t asked to have her overnight but I would let him as he is actually careful and responsible, just a bit lazy if I am around to do stuff.
I am finding it hard not having a fixed timetable for things. I also want a break. What would a court suggest? Would they suggest overnights for him? Would he have change to say no he didn’t want them and then would the court take that into account an amend the suggestion for the order? I know no order can actually force him in practice to meet the terms of it but I am speaking from a general perspective of assuming each party complies. Thanks
