Have access to most streaming platforms! Looking for something thrilling or absorbing or ideally both!

Please give me your best ever film

There’s a film section.
There’s a good thread on it called Quirky little gems, worth a look.

Fracture with Antony Hopkins? It's old so you might have seen it but it's thrilling in a non annoying way.

BatFaceGrrrll · 18/08/2024 18:35

Fracture does look decent! Thank you

A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 3

We've just binge watched Dear Child on Netflix - not a film but 6 x 1 hour episodes.
German but dubbed really well - almost seamless.
Well worth a watch in my opinion - pretty difficult to watch at times but satisfying ending - not something we find that often!
Also Joyride with Olivia Colman - very funny at times but hidden depths.

Oh and if you like Olivia Colman - Wicked Little Letters!

BiggerBoat1 · 18/08/2024 22:20

I felt Dear Child started well but the ending was poor. Poor Things is brilliant!
