Do scroll on when OP never replies

So many posts with just the OP.. and no response:.

I've taken to looking if they make a second post and if they don't - then scrolling on ... anyone else. ?

I try not to get invested these days

Yes, if it's a long thread and I see the OP hasn't bothered replying, I just click out again.

I've been thinking this week in particular, there are a lot of threads that look like research.

Yes, Ive been saying this for months now - 'oh look - the OP hasnt returned.'

Its just so obvious that theyre bots, researchers or journos.

I also think that nobody dares post anything genuine anymore because more than likely, it'll get picked up by the daily mail and they'll be outed.

I also think that these days, if you're looking for advice, you'd be better served asking ChatGPT.

You can use the "See all" button in the bottom right of the OP instead of scrolling through the thread.
