If it was treated as a piece of street art, ok then, but now the policy and local authorities are protecting it, has it gone a bit too far?

I feel sorry for the owners of the surfaces he paints on. They then have the burden of "protecting" the work to avoid someone damaging their property to steal it. In that respect he's a bloody nuisance.

I think it hilarious when the smaller ones have been stolen so quickly (the road sign and the satellite dish).

Didn't like Banksy to start off with but I have grown to like him more and more. I think the recent ones are brilliant

I like graffiti as long as it’s colourful. Tagging can get in the bin as that is just the equivalent of a dog locking its leg to mark its territory

I am so bored hearing about Banksy. His artwork isn't really artwork and I find it dull and boring. I want to hear about another artist who isn't so overrated.

There was also some graffiti near me, that I really liked. But that was removed as it's not 'art'.

More importantly what did pie arse do!

I like the pelicans best from this week, but the piranhas on the police box are close by me now they've moved it to the Guildhall so I'm going to go and have a look.

I have two others (long since covered with plexiglass) within a few minutes of my flat but I still like seeing something new
