Good morning.

I for unknown reasons a struggling with my weight recently. 6/7 months ago I was just under 9 stone and today I'm 7st 5. I'm not doing anything different I eat the same I don't go to the gym my daily activities are the same. My appetite definitely has decreased a bit but I still make sure I'm eating. I'm confused because 2 weeks ago I was 7st 12 some how I've managed to lose 7 pounds in a few weeks. The only health problems known is anemia but I've had that pretty much since a child. BMI is 17.1 which obviously isn't great. What am I doing wrong🤔 I'm not vegetarian or vegan my diet is quite wide.

I think you need to make an appointment with your doctor.

WickieRoy · 13/08/2024 09:39

Odds are that you're just eating less than you think, but with unexplained weight loss I'd be going to the GP for bloods just in case.

You need to make a gp appointment. Unexplained weight loss needs to be investigated.

I had full bloods just a month ago to check out the iron and a few other things

Did you discuss the weight loss with your GP?

I didn't mention it to the gp, I didn't really begin weighing myself or was aware of the amount that I have been loosing until around about a month ago.

What does a typical days food like for you?

But yes, you should see your gp.

You need to go back then and discuss the weight loss.

I wake around 6:30 with my kids and have a tea. Around 10am I'll have something small like wetabix or crackers. I'll snack through the day I don't have lunch everyday but if I do it's usually omelette or sausage roll, and most nights I'll eat something with meat and potatoes. And snack a little in the evening.
