Dh has been working away for two weeks (first time doing this)
He brought gifts home for Dd-a teddy, books, sweets, nothing for me, would it bother you?
Would yours bring something for you?

Yes, he would and I do the same for him.

I travel a lot for work and always bring back gifts for everyone in the family. I hate buying tat so it's usually food related. Not expensive but just a little something from a supermarket equivalent. It's fun to share something from travels and shows you've been thinking of them and missed them.

I work away and usually pick up gifts / chocs for everyone, at the airport.

If it’s abroad he will usually bring me a bottle from the airport and recently bought me a branded coffee cup from a certain chain only in that country because my old one was wearing away. Apart from that No and I don’t even think to expect anything
